Other Ways to Give
Beyond financial support LAFA needs your help as a volunteer, promoter and/or through providing in-kind support. Here are just a few ways that you can help to support the LAFA.
1. Volunteer to Deliver Holiday Meals.
LAFA in partnership with LADOA provides Thanksgiving Day meals to seniors who participate in the Meals on Wheels Los Angeles Program. Meals are delivered by volunteers to over 3,000 seniors each year.
2. Gifts In-Kind.
Gifts in-kind are gifts of services and goods. Support LAFA by providing technical expertise and professional services. Other in-kind gifts include food from food drives, office supplies, auction items for fund raising events, and items for volunteer recognition programs.
3. Introduce LAFA to Others.
Word of mouth is our best source of referrals for volunteers and donations. We need your help introducing LAFA to individuals, other businesses, celebrities, friends, and family members who share our concern for the quality of life of seniors in the City of Los Angeles.
4. Matching Gifts.
Many companies have programs which match charitable contributions by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, employers can multiply your gift to LAFA. Ask your employer if you have such a program where you work.
5. Good Search

6. Ralphs and Food4Less
Ralphs/Food4 Less is committed to helping communities grow and prosper. Year after year, local schools, churches and other non-profit organizations earn millions of dollars through the Community Contributions Program.
